Portmeirion is a tourist village in Gwynedd, North Wales. It was designed and built by ir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village and is now owned by a charitable trust.
Portmeirion Village is also home to Portmeirion, the leading British pottery brand, located in the English country of Wales. It was purchased and designed in 1925 by the father and founder of Fort Marion, Susan Williams-Ellis's father, Clough Williams-Ellis, and is still one of the most exotic destinations in the UK.
